Vicki graduated from Curtin University in 1999 having completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance. In 2003 she completed the Chartered Accountants Program and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In her 20 years of working as an accountant Vicki has dealt with all aspects of taxation, accounting and business issues for small, medium and large businesses in a variety of industries.

Vicki established Refined Wealth in March 2017 with the goal of not just focusing on a clients compliance work but to add value to all aspects of their business in order for them to grow their wealth and achieve both their personal and business goals. She prides herself on providing a high and consistent level of customer service with a strong focus on the individual needs of each client.

In her spare time, Vicki enjoys spending time with her two children.

Dale Mertens is a Director of Refined Wealth and formed the company with a view to providing small business owners and individuals with a holistic financial service experience.’ I want to have a positive impact on the future financial position of clients and as such I am dedicated to ensure client service at Refined Wealth is of the highest possible standard and our teams focus is firmly on providing a quality service.

My real passion is to assist clients with the structuring of loans to firstly ensure they are not paying the banks to much in fees and interest repayments but structuring loans so that they are tax effective. Having obtained a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and being successfully granted my own Australian Credit Licence by ASIC I have over 40 different lenders at my disposal which gives me the diversity to ensure the best deal for each and every differing client needs whether it be residential, commercial, SMSF or business lending .

My personal goal is to maximise the positive impact on the business and personal success of clients by delivering quality, proactive and timely tax and finance services. I develop strong relationships and am dedicated to providing innovative and knowledgeable solutions that grow the wealth of our clients.

Sharlin graduated from Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in accounting and finance. In 2008, Sharlin obtained her Chartered Accountant qualification. Sharlin has over 20 years’ experience in taxation, self-managed superannuation funds and business advisory, working with small to medium sized business in a diverse range of industries.

Sharlin is passionate about assisting clients managing their businesses effectively and efficiently. Her expertise includes income tax, capital gains tax, goods and services tax and superannuation. In her spare time, she likes going out for movies, checking out Perth’s best brunch cafes and travelling.

Steve works as a Credit Representative for Refined Wealth and his philosophy is “Always do well for the client”. Steve is passionate about helping people achieve their financial dreams – helping to change the lives of families that he works with. He enjoys the challenge of finding solutions for different situations and individuals circumstances.

He holds a Diploma of Financial Services in both Finance/Mortgage Broking Management and has worked as a Finance/Mortgage Broker since 2015 He is well placed to assist you in finding the right home loan for you.
